Cohn & Wolfe, NYC - Graphics Director, 2001 to 2003
Hired as one-person graphics department. Art directed and produced graphics for print, web, presentations and video. Rehired in 1992 to set-up Mac-based graphics department supporting Y&R companies and outside clients. Responsibilities included: software and hardware purchasing, systems maintenance, network management, art direction, project management, and training. Accomplishments: created workflow and file management systems; set-up company-wide graphical database library & server; established design and artistic standards, helped create Burson-Marsteller Worldwide Intranet. Rehired in 1987. Designed, produced, revised and imaged graphics using various software packages on Macintosh, Windows and Genigraphics systems. Involved with many network-wide projects, such as Genigraphics Symbol Library and the Microsoft/Genigraphics business alliance, which help produce PowerPoint and the Microsoft Clip Art libraries. Member of PowerPoint 3.0 and 4.0 team.

Burson-Marsteller/TPS, NYC - Production Manager, 1984 to 1987

Established and ran initial in-house computer graphics facility using Genigraphics equipment. Provided job scheduling, design, hiring, staff training, equipment purchasing and maintenance. Created workflow systems for in-house production.
Genigraphics Corporation, NYC - Night Manager, 1983 to 1984
Managed busy night shift of six artists. Gained complete working knowledge of computer slide and print production.
National Imagemakers, Inc., NYC - Production Manager, 1981 to 1983

Trained as a Genigraphics artist, promoted to Production Manager in nine months. Introduced to Computer Graphics industry.

Completed various freelance graphic design and consulting projects for corporations, individuals, web content providers, and others. Participated in planning and execution of Microsoft’s Clip Art Library for the Microsoft Corporation, which ships with PowerPoint, Word & Office Suite. Contributed over 300 original drawings, symbols and templates. Performed alpha and beta testing for Microsoft PowerPoint 3.0 and 4.0.
1984 to 1989:
Worked freelance as a copywriter and film/music critic for two NYC weeklies (East Coast Rocker, Downtown) and others.
